Scotland's newest driving route. This circular route takes visitors on a journey through Speyside, the Cairngorms, Royal Deeside, Aberdeen, the East Coast and the Moray Coast. You will experience spectacular scenery, beautiful secluded beaches, wildlife, castles and fantastic food on your journey. If you can tear yourself away from the scenery then a visit to the city of Aberdeen is a must where you will find history, architecture in abundance and of course an array of fantastic shopping opportunities.
North Coast 500
Starting and ending at Inverness, the North Coast 500 route takes in over 500 miles (900km) of some of the most fantastic scenery in Scotland. On your journey you will pass awe inspiring mountain ranges, dark hidden glens, sandy white beaches, cliffs, haunting ruins, castles, historic sites, picturesque villages and many hidden gems. Heading North from Inverness stop off at Dunrobin Castle with its falconry display, the village of Helmsdale with its quaint harbour, the famous John o' Groats, the most northlery point at Dunnet Head, caves at Bettyhill, Cape Wrath and then wander along some of the most beautiful beaches in the UK on the West Coast, before returning to the city of Inverness.
