The garden at Glengarry has something special for every season. There are many unusual specimen plants first introduced to the garden in the 1960s by a Professor who loved gardening. At that time the garden was much larger than it is now taking in the whole of the next door property and was split into sections for plants, vegetables and fruit trees.. Since purchasing Glengarry in 1998 we have endeavoured to resurrect the garden to what it would have been like in its heyday. As we have no pictures or plans we hope we have succeeded as much as possible.
Whilst staying at Glengarry you are very welcome to enjoy our garden and we would be happy to offer you cuttings or seeds from anything that takes your fancy.
There is ample seating in the garden, including a summer house, where you are welcome to sit should you not feel like venturing out or maybe enjoy a glass of wine in an evening, or just relax.
